As i am HIV+ i have been on disability for awhile now. Although i remain too healthy to iniate HAART treatment i know this cannot go on for too much longer as the sooner you start the longer you live(13 yrs).That fact that i will be once again a contributing member of society has been a huge boost for my self worth.A gratefull(to GOD)recovering addict i am now 5 yrs clean...starting community based research here in the north is just the thing i need to keep busy.My dream of going across this country doing HIV-AIDs education & awareness-harm reduction based speaking tour is now on hold.Funding ,wouldn't ya know, is being cut for ASO's world-wide.US folks do NOT want healthcare for all it seams.Crazy especially at a time when theres a global pandemic...the fact that Obama cannot get this passed is BS! We NEED hiv testing & TREATMENT for all-UNIVERSALLY!eDUCATION & HEALTHCARE should be a right,not a privilige!Thank GOD i live in Canada!Peace folks!!!
